Today I completed the 5k for the KC Corporate Challenge, and I actually ran most of it. Towards the end of the race I was ready to give up, but I kept pushing through and finished strong. It was freezing this morning out there doing the run, but it was a refreshing way to start the day. I am going to keep training and see if I can find some other 5k races to compete in. I know that I am not ready to take on a marathon, but maybe one of these days!
