Greeting my BL friend! I am writing to talk a little about the upcoming holiday. Yep you guessed it Turkey day! Lets take this year and make a difference. We can't let this holiday stop us on our journey. We can make the right choices and still enjoy the holiday. Here is a tip- Thanksgiving is not an all you can eat buffet! Plan on one trip up to the food and try this. 1/2 of your plate fill with veggies, 1/4 with turkey (no skin) and 1/4 the sides you like. This will allow you to take a small spoonful of your favorites while not over doing it. The second tip is do not show up to turkey dinner hungry. You will eat faster and more of it than if you eat a good wholesome breakfast and lunch(if your dinner is actually at dinner time) Also-remember to keep your body hydrated. I have posted some helpful more healthy recipes that I have found. You will find them posted under the healthy recipe section on the message boards-posted under 20 ladies on a journey.
