OK. Today I feel like whining. Things were going great as far as losing weight. I was even doubling my workout time. Then my STUPID knee decides to get other ideas. So, workouts have come to a stop. Walking even hurts now and I can feel my knee even when I'm sitting here. It feels like I have tight bands above and below my knee cap and there's pain on the outside of my knee. On top of that, if I try to workout, I rapidly lose strength in that knee.
So, now I've gained 6 pounds. To add to the stress, since the salon is still new and we are still building a customer base, money is beyond tight right now, so getting in enough calories, let alone the right calories has been a huge challenge. There's just no money for groceries. I hate saying that because it sounds like a lame excuse, but what little money I have ends up in my gas tank so I can make it back and forth to work.
This totally sucks and I'm not feeling very optimistic at the moment.
