Hi everybody, just joined the site. I'm 27. I gained all of my weight in high school, and have lost some of it, but have only been able to maintain instead of loose anymore I have been around the same weight give or take ten for over five years and it's my wish to cut down another 100 to be really happy. I should be on mostly daily and if I can help anyone will be more than happy to. I am an avid gamer and a bit on the geek side so most of my friends tend to be the sterotypical "geeky skinny eat cake all day and loose weight kinda guy," who, although wonderful, are not particularly helpful to someone who is, um, not. Anyway just let me know if there is anything I can do for you 8)

Hello, everyone! I just joined (both to the group & to the League), so I wanted to do a little intro. I'm very much in need of friends & support in helping me reach my health goals.
I just turned 29, so I will only be 20-something for one more year. These last couple of years have been very hard for me & my family, and I find that my weight has ballooned considerably. I'm going to try to take back control of my life & my health, and it's my very sincere hope that I can lose 45 pounds this year to reach my goal weight by the time I turn 30. At the very least, I don't want to land in the "obese" category in the BMI spectrum. I'm also hoping to increase my strength and endurance, and maybe even get over my irrational fear of exercising in front of people. Hopefully I'll be able to exercise and have more fun with my family (husband and two daughters, aged 7 & 4.5).
