At the advice of Missy, I"ve made a deliberate attempt at keeping track of what I eat during the day. I've also made a real effort to replace any snacks that are full of empty calories with snacks that are nutritious. After a while you realize that a cut up apple dipped in natural peanut butter is just as filling and satisfying as a glazed doughnut. When I'm really "jonesing" for something sweet I just eat a piece of plain chocolate bar.
