Hey there! How amazing did everyone look on TBL finale? I can't believe another season has come to an end, but it looks like we won't have to wait too long. They announced season 9 to start on January 5th. That's not too far off. We can hold out until then, right? Of course I have a quote for you ..... " You're going to get out of this thing, what you're putting into it. " (Jillian Michaels) So when you put your all into something it will reward you back. If you don't, then you won't see much success. Which one are you going to be? Take care!

Hi Divas! I just wanted to stop by and wish you a safe and Happy Thanksgiving! This is the time of year to take some time and think about what you are truly thankful for. This year I am thankful that I am the captain of an amazing team here. You divas are one of a kind. You make it very easy for me to continue leading this team. We had a few ups and downs within, but many have remained loyal here. Some have jumped ship to the DD team on Sparkpeople, but others have remain to stay on both teams. As you all know I've always been very proud that we are the only active standing team that started out when the league first formed. I'm also proud that many other members on the site and teams look up to us as the standard here on the site. So, for that I am forever grateful to you all. I know you are always telling me that, but honestly if it wasn't for all of us this team wouldn't be where its at today. Thanks you divas! I love ya gals! *~ Paula *~

Hey there diva-ette! I mentioned a few days ago that I will once again be going through the team. The reason is that I noticed many ladies who joined TBLL and then our team and never return to the team or site for that matter. It would not be fair to the active members of the team to keep those members on. Especially when a new diva joins and looks around and send messages to other divas on the team never to hear back from them. We might end up with around 30 divas or a little more or less. I'll be going through the team tomorrow night. I will also be posting in the TEAM RECRUITMENT section and our team chat and main team page the new rules for a new diva as well as what we expect each diva on the team to do as part of the team. Trust me, its nothing major that I'm asking. Have a great weekend!

Good Morning Divas! Another Monday here! I just wanted to check in and see how things are going for you right now on your journey. With the holidays in full swing its not the time to get off track, but to stay on your road even if there are a few bumps because of the holidays. Think about it do you want to start of the year 2010 heavier than what you are now? Of course not so even if you enjoy the actually holiday day a little more than normal don't throw away the other 40 something days as well. Stick with your plan and you know the divas on the team will be there to give you support and motivation as well. We can do this together as a team during the holidays.

Hey divas! Well, I'm dropping in for a few reminders. If you'd like to join the Christmas Ornament and Cards/E-Cards exchanges come on over to the team chat and look at page 116 to see what it is and then tell me there or send me a PM to my inbox letting me know. You have till next Saturday to join in on that. Also, I noticed when I send comments that there are quite a few divas that are not joining in on the team, blogs or even logging on to the site after joining. Sometime this week I'll be posting new rules about the team and how we will give you a 10 day trail period when you join the team to update your blog, come to the team chat, challenges or even just give us an acknowledgment that you're part of the team and if you haven't in that time period you will be releases from the team. I love how many people join the team, but not so much when you do and never come on board to be a part of the team. You do miss out on the support and motivation we give and receive from each other. We're getting ready for a fun but helpful challenge for December to keep us focused during the holidays, but something easy enough because we'll be so busy too. Hope those of you that haven't been around much come back, those of you that have never joined in with the team do and for all the newbies welcome and come be a part of the best team here on TBLL! TTFN!

Hey girlfriend! Great show on Tuesday huh? I cannot believe Shay is gone. I was truly shocked that they voted her out when she told them she's not there to win but to live. She's doing good at home though. It was Daniel's time and I wasn't so sad or shocked about that. I was shocked that David from last season said he had more important things than weight loss. Are you kidding me? When does you health and life become second to anything? I hope it clicks with him one day soon. I'm going to a Christmas Festival at our convention center on Friday with my Mom, its tradition since I was in H.S. I hear the s word for Denver again this weekend, SNOW! Its not going to be as much as the blizzard a couple of weeks ago. You know I never leave without a quote for everyone and this one is from Shay who was voted out this week. .................... " You can get back your life. You can live instead of die. " (Shay, TBL) This is not easy for anyone to do. We all have ups and downs on this weight loss journey. Some days we have really good days and other days we want to give up, but remember if Shay can do this we all can. She has proved that no matter how much weight you have to lose if you start believing that you can do it, it will be done. Keep fighting the fight for you to win. Take care! *~ Paula *~
