Getting Over Your Hurdles
Exercise Hurdle:
When does it happen? Running on the treadmill for at least 5 minutes
How can you change it? Run for 2 minutes straight, then walk 2 minutes, run 2 minutes, walk 2 minutes, etc.
Nutrition Hurdle:
When does it happen? Late at night craving sweet things
How can you change it? I either chew on a piece of gum or a cup of Chex Mix
Emotional Hurdle:
When does it happen? When I don't see a change on the scale
How can you change it? I take my measurements to see the difference--not focusing on the number that comes across the scale but on the number of inches I have lost in a week
