This was a very enlightening challenge. I found my BMR is 2876 and my RMR is 2543. So...
RMR 2543
Current Weight 339
Goal weight 225
total pounds to lose 114: 38 weeks x 3 lbs/week =114 lbs
3 x 3500 =10,500/7=1500 calorie deficit per day
2543(RMR)-1500(deficit) = 1043(budget)
1043(budget) 1800(calories to eat)=2843 calories
2843 means need to burn 843 calories per day to lose 3 lbs/week.
