One of my absolute favorite fast food meals (and something I still crave a lot!), is the McDonald's McChicken, french fries, and a coke. One of the problems with that is since the sandwich is so small compared to other burgers, I used it as an excuse to eat two. Or another small sandwich like a filet o' fish or a double cheeseburger. The McChicken has 360 calories and 11 g of fat. But eating two, I was consuming 720 calories and 22 g fat. If I had one of those other sandwiches I mentioned, it was even MORE! And that doesn't even include the fries! McDonald's french fries are just the best! A medium is 380 calories and 19 g fat!!! Then there's the soda, which is 210 calories and 58 g of sugar for the medium. My goodness! I was eating at least 1,310 calories and 41 g fat in just ONE meal (and it was usually just lunch)! That is almost as many calories that I eat in a whole day now! I am able to eat more food by eating healthy, and I feel the difference in my body by avoiding the greasy fast food. My body is thanking me! I am healthier, happier, and more energetic! I wouldn't trade that in! It's not worth it.
