The Biggest Loser League

and all caught up I think. Camping was so wonderful, I didn't want to come home! lol. Although it seems that I came home at the perfect time as a heat wave started the very day I left. I thought I was going home to cool weather and I couldn't wait, but it was 96 degrees when I got home, and that's in San Francisco! It's always 15 to 20 degrees hotter where I was camping. Phew! I'm glad I dodged that! Ok, still too lazy to update ya'll with the details of my trip, so that is yet to come. I hope everyone had a great week, and I want you all to know that I missed all of you soo much!

My on the go recipe is simple. It's usually just a sammich when I'm in a hurry and headed out the door. I slap some lean lunch meat on some whole grain bread with light mayo and mustard. Depending on my mood, I add veggies like lettuce, tomato, onion, avacado, etc. I also grab some fruit and another light snack like a 100 calorie pack or granola bar. Dn't forget the water! Easy meal on the go!

Last week I didn't lose enough for Sarah's (momsdabomb) challenge. I lost 1.4 pounds and the challenge was to lose 2 pounds. I wasn't disappointed because I had cheated the weekend before. This week I made up for it tho cause I lost 4.6 pounds. Woohoo!

No NEW teamwork challenge this week. Unless you count teaming up with my family to get ready for camping this weekend, cause it seems that's all I have time for this week. BUT, I am still managing to team up with my sil to tackle week 8 of The Couch to 5k running program. It's too bad that week 9 has to wait until we get back from camping because there is no way I am going to be able to handle that in the heat where we are going.

This is not a new fact, but it just got brought back up within my team and I want to stress HOW IMPORTANT IT IS TO EAT BREAKFAST!!! Preferably within 30 minutes of waking up in the morning! It kick starts your metabolism for the day. And can stall weight loss if you don't. You should make sure you add plenty of protein and whole grains to fuel your body, and fiber to keep you fuller longer!
