Hey all. Thanks so much for the prayers!
Rain is still in the hospital. I went to visit her earlier, she is looking a little better. The vet didn't see any lesions on the chest xray, and her abdominal ultra sound came back clear too. This means, it is not looking like the autoimmune disease was caused by cancer, which is a great thing. We are still waiting for her red blood cell count to go up, and in the mean time, we have to hope that she doesn't get any blood clots.. which is the main reasons why dogs w/ a similar condition don't make it. However, last night it was looking like she just wasn't going to make it, and today it is looking more like she could go either way. I know it's not the best chance, but it is still one I am willing to take. Again, thank you so much for all your prayers.. please, please keep them coming.
