So here's something totally frustrating. But I suspected it all along. My exercise bike tells me I just burned 250 calories - using the 30 minute program getting my heart rate up in the 125-150 range for 20 minutes.
HOWEVER - Buddy tells me I only burned 80 calories. Frak!
I feel like the effort I'm putting in should be yeilding more. Is it that my hypothyroidism is keeping my heart rate too low .. that my metabolism really does burn at a lower rate than normal people?
OR ... is it the Body Bugg is not functioning properly?
Who knows!
i'll just keep plugging along to get my 2750 calories burned each day - and once I can do that dfor two weeks in a row I'll bump up my exercise intesity to burn 3,000 calories a day.
