Working out at home, hard to say where to start cause there are so many ways.
Simple ways are DVD's there are hundreds out there
You can do exercise in front of your tv with exercise shows.
If you don't have weights you can lift canned food.
Running up and down stairs is a great workout
Stationary bikes can be gotten all over and fairly cheap too.
If you have abit of money used treadmills and ellipical riders are out there.
Many magazine are available with workouts.
If you want to get out of the livng room simple walking does wonders, you can go to the school field and do laps there.
Putting on your favorite music and just dancing is a great workout too.
I could go on and on but guess I will stop here.
