The Biggest Loser League

I have been struggling with whether to stay here and on SP.  I don't know if I should eliminate one or both of them.  I haven't had a lot of time to spend on here.  My husband is on the computer for work evey night and on for long hours.  With what little time to be on the computer, this site slowness frustrates me.  SP has a lot to offer.  I have been taking the "back seat" to this journey right now.  I am not handling the daily life stresses well and still not finding a way to work out that best fits my schedule and my family's schedule.  I have been putting everyone else first before myself.  Right now the only thing that I do for myself is making sure I am in bed no later than 10pm.  My kids haven't adjusted to their schedule yet because we just changed it again.  They are not bouncing back as well as I hoped and then to top it off they start  school this next week.  Plus my husband's father had a heart attack this past Thursday and he's in critical but stable condition.  I feel if I am not helping me than I don't have the support to give to this team.  I have prayed about this every day and I feel that my main focus is to get my family life back in order and return here when I can completely devote more time to each of you.  I love this team but I need to take a break from this and clear out the clouds.  Thanks for all the suppport and encouragement that you have given me.  I hope that I will get back to this soon and return all the support and encouragement you have given me.  Love you all ~ Sandie

I had a great Saturday.  My 8 yr old had a softball tournament and won the whole thing.  Very Exciting even though  I missed the last two games due to getting a ticket to see Rascal Flatts at Wrigley Field in Chicago.  What a Rockin' show.  They put on a great concert.  It was a beautiful Chicago night.  It couldn't get any better than that.  A side from that, my weight is staying the same.  I need to work harder at dropping the weight but it is what it is.  I am very excited to say that I will be running a 5k in Chicago on October 3 with my uncle.  He has been a runner all his life.  He has run the Chicago marathon twice, Arizona marathon once.  He is in a running group and they run 3 times a week.  So I was talking with him about it and asking a lot of questions.  I asked him how long it would take him to run a 5k and he said about 20 minutes.  I told him that he would have to definitely wait for me because I would be much slower.  He said that it is a good time and that I would really enjoy it.   You could also walk this race if you wanted to.  My mom is thinking about doing it (of course walking).  I think that would be great to get her out there and get her moving again.  But  we will see when that time gets closer.   Just wanted to blog about my awesome Saturday.  Thanks for listening.   I pray that all of you have a fantastic day as well.

I just noticed that I haven't updated here in a while.  Things are going well. I got great news today.  My boss came up to me today to let me know that I will be getting my first paycheck tomorrow and with that he said he was very pleased with my attitude, my knowledge of the job, and my work ethic.  So he gave me a raise.  YIPEE!!!!!  When I interviewed for this, I was hoping for what I use to make but it was quite a bit less.  So I was a little discouraged with that but knew that I could really try hard to get back up to the level in need.  But as it turns out it just went up in just 3 little weeks.  It's funny how I already got a raise and haven't really gotten my first check.  Hopefully I can get to the desired level soon.   I am definitely thanking GOD for this.   Without HIM this would not have been possible.  God is truly a blessing.I am still plugging away at the c25k training.  It's actually going better than I thought it would.  I don't dread it at all.  I am struggling with night time eating - right when I walk in the door from work.  I pack a lunch with snacks but just seems that I am still starving.  I need to work on that some more and find some alternatives to stop this from happening.  But it is all a part of adjusting to this new schedule.  All I know is......... to keep trying.

I just can't seem to get on here as much as I would like.  Between gettting the kids ready for bed and hubby on computer - there's just no time.  I go to bed almost the same time as the kids now.  I am always adjusting to getting up very early (it's a normal time for most people but not for me) 5 - 5:30am to get ready for work.  We have had softball games or practices every night.  I want to find a better way to manage my time so I can accomplish every thing I need to do (and still get enough sleep).I am really trying to make on here every night.  I catch up on all of it but don't spend a lot of time blogging or dropping a line to any one on the team.  It's so frustrating to me.  I did complete week 2 day 1 C25K workout.  Boy that was a little harder than week one.  I did finish and it feels great that I accomplished that so far.  I am a little sore but it's not that bad.  I call it the "good" soreness.  Well it's off to bed now.  I hope I can catch up with you all tomorrow. 

Well I did the first day workout for the c25k.  I did good considering I am not a runner.  I was getting tired toward the end of the workout.  Job is going good.  I wish it was a little bit more busier though.  I feel I am standing around too much.  If that's the case I would rather be at home.  But my boss said that he's going this slowly so I can get used to everything.  I miss my kids terribly.  They are having fun in daycare.  They go on field trips and just stay busy all day long.Blessings to all
