OK--I QUIT!! Not really, I am up a pound this week when according to the numbers I should be down a pound. I know the scale fluctuates a lot, so I accept that. What I mean is--I am going to take a break and try to maintain for a while. I actually started at 209 (posted at 200 on this board) several years ago with a goal of 150. When I hit that I lowered my goal to 145. When I hit that I lowered my goal to 140. I am bouncing around at 142-143 now and I may just be satisfied with that. I am 60 years old--5'4" tall. I haven't been this weight since I was about 28. So I think I have done pretty good. My body is just screaming for me to stop!! I normally run 30 minutes every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. I just could not do it yesterday--no energy. I have been eating 1600 cal/day, and burning around 2100. I am just going to try to maintain and rest a while. I will still be doing my classes (2 each on Tues & Thurs) at the Y and running when I feel like it, but don't want to be unreasonable about this thing. I have lost 66 lb, everything in my closet fits (or is too big). I am wearing size 6-8 pants and Med. tops. Sounds pretty good when I put it in writing. So I am officially resting!!! Will still be on these boards b/c I love the encouragement and the accountability.
