Ok--this will be the third try to post this blog. Don't know what the problem is, but it sure is frustrating! Hope it works this time.
My plan with the body bugg is 1.5 lb/week. After 5 weeks, I am down 8.4 lb!!! 2.2 this week alone. It feels so good to know the numbers and be in control of this weight loss. My first goal (150) is past, my second goal (145) is 2 lb away!!! I think I will go a little lower, just to have some breathing room--and this is not being hard. I am amazed.
AND---I ran 3 miles on Tuesday. I ran outside right through town--past the post office, funeral home, flower shop--all where there were people who probably knew me--and I was proud. Funny thing, though, as I ran past a house with a fenced yard, a barking dog followed along beside me on the other side of the fence. A small boy yelled at the dog "Leave that old lady alone". But I didn't feel old--I felt great!!
I just want to say thanks to everyone on this site who encourages people to achieve their goals. Since joining this site I have found C25K and the body bugg, which have made such a difference in my life.
Exercise has helped me keep my sanity through family issues, illnesses, and more. It hasn't changed anything but my frame of mind and for that I am thankful.
