I finally lost the first ten pounds of my weight loss goal! Although it has taken almost three months to do it, I continued to work on it and am glad I did. It doesn't matter how long it takes to lose it, the important thing is that you continue to go down or stay the same without going back up. I feel so much better and have a lot more energy. Certain things have become habit (exercise sessions) while others I still struggle with (avoiding fried foods). As things become habit, it is easier to work on new things and try different foods to satisfy you (I found great chicken breasts at a local butcher which although slightly more expensive are much tastier). So my message to others out there is to keep at it and you will make your milestones. For me it was the first 10 pounds. 10 down and 32 to go!
