Thanks! I've been a little overwhelmed, especially since I start my new job on Monday. I am manager of a new salon in my area. Right now we are doing a soft opening with the nail part of the salon. Once we are done, we will be a full service salon. Hopefully by the end of the month. :)

I hope you ended up getting some good sleep last night! I work 3rd shift (11pm-7am) 5 nights a week so my nights off (Friday and Saturday) are my luxury sleep nights. It works well doing 3rd shift with Johnny since it means that either his dad or I are always home with him and there's no need to try and figure out daycare ... but it definitely has taken a toll on my body. He turned 2 in June and my body still hasn't figured out when it should be asleep, when it should eat, when it should be active, fun stuff like that. I know that my metabolism is all out of whack and I'm trying my hardest to work around it. I also belong to the Biggest Loser Club and the "experts" over there have been SO helpful giving my tips and ideas to make this still a possibility for me ... but sometimes (okay, a lot of times) it's just easier said than done. My mom was only 54 (and I was 27) when she passed away due to complications from her own obesity and I can't let the same thing happen. It scares the tar out of me that I won't be able to get this under control in time to be able to see my boy grow up. Stick with me!
