Hi. My name is Katherine. I am 38, and around 140 lbs. overweight. I am a Christian focusing on God's built-in system of food control. He gives us hunger pangs to tell us when to eat and tells us we are full to tell us when to stop eating. He is the most important factor, though. If we leave a relationship with Him out of the picture we lose focus on the importance of the system and focus on the food. That is what got me to 279 lbs. My highest I ever saw the scale at is 283, and I hope I never see that again. I really want to have a lot of friends on here because I do not want to be like so many others I have looked at on here, who have not been back since the day they signed up, so come one come all, and be my friend. We cannot have too much support in this battle. We are all here for a reason, so let's let part of that reason be to love and support and encourage each other.
